Going out in the city is always a nice time to take photos but there are always going to be times that are a lot simpler to just relax and shoot. Going to the arcade and just playing games with friends, going to the park and shooting around, just walking around the neighborhood, all things that yield good results. Being able to just go out and enjoy whatever you are doing with who you are doing it with is a blessing. Gordon Parks was one of my first real inspirations in photography. He was a photographer that was not scared to tell a story and speak up about his beliefs. He shot civil rights movements, athletes, portraits, poverty, and was able to be a successful artist in a time that did not show much support to people of color. He was also a writer musician, and film director, all careers he was successful with. Gordon lived through 2 world wars, segregation, and many other things.
